HOW AND WHERE CAN I ADJUST THE IDLE HONDA AIR BLADE

Hello. I believe there is a process for setting the pintle length on the idle air control motor...you need to look at a shop manual and it will detail how to measure the stickout of the old iac. Then you turn/ adjust/ unscrew the iac pintle. The pintle is the part that sticks out to regulate the idle by opening or closing/blocking the idle air port. If you do not adjust the stickout, the pintle is either out too far or too short, and then the motor cannot effectively regulate the idle. It burns the motor because the computer(ECU/ECM) keeps telling the motor to open or close the port MORE but it's at the end of the travel and burns up due to running constantly. High idle conditions could be a result of low coolant levels causing the fast idle valve under the throttle body to catch air and not operate accordingly as it needs pressure built once car is warmed up to close the gap of allowed air passage reslting in lower idle at time engine reaches operating temperature. Your problem sounds like have air leakage from air induction system. I suggest you to re-check the gasket of Air Intake Manifold you installled or vacuum hoses for possible air leaking.
The easy way to check it, use Throttle Body or Carburator Spray Cleaner. Just spray around intake manifold where gaskets fitted and observe the idle speed, once the idle change or encrease, definetly there is air leak and you have check the gasket or replce it if necessary.
But if doesn't make change, I suggest you to check Idle Air Control Valve, check connector plug, lines and if you have donor unit try to do test part.

Have you changed your fast idle valve or air idel control valve I would change the air idle valve because it is the one with an electric sensor.

you can adjust your fuel to air mixture on the carb and this may help your idle situation

Sounds like an idle air control valve issue. these can stick open and cause surging. That would be my first step.

I had this same problem. All you have to do is adjust the high speed idle setting.

1 . check the fuel filter, maybe has some dirt inside.

2. clean the air filter or put another new air filter in

3. adjust the idle.

4. if there is no way to adjust the idle manually, you need to take to the dealer for computer adjust the idel.
