Jump across the two leads on the switch with a jumper lead (alligator clip leads)

Thanks, saved my pool heater heat pump -going crazy- delima! I replaced a solarium pc board but it still would not work now I know for sure it was the water sensor switch, the replacement water sensor switch was bad too.1

The pilot light is on but it will not start the burners how to test or bypass

this can be caused by a few different items. it can be a faulty/broken flow sensor, broken pressure switch, bad fireman switch. the best bet is to get a qualified pool heater technician to fix it properly. bypassing any of these safety devices is a bad idea

Teledyne lars heater, pilot is on but wont fire up, whats wrong?

Somewhere in your "safety loop" something is open. Like old fashioned Christmas lights if one light goes out the whole circuit dies. Instead of bulbs you have a fusable link (rollout sensor), a pressure sensor, the on/off switch , the thermostat(s), and two high limit switches.
The fist thing is to clean/backwash the filter to make sure it's not simply low pressure causing the heater not to fire. If that is okay the problem may lie in any one ore more of the switches and sensors mentioned. The gas valve itself may also be the cause.

Though the pilot lite is on the heater burners won't come on. We had very bad storms the past few days and I wonder if that affected the heater in any way. Is it the pressure switchor there's a little...

try bypassing pressure switch, if htr fires,it is either faulty or out of adjustment.storm should have no effect on a millivolt heater unless it took a direct lightening hit. let me know how if it works out

LARS LITE #LLG175N BURNER WON'T STAY LIT.

Make sure your pool filter is clean. Low water flow through the heater will be detected by water pressure switch
