SOURCE: how to change primary chain tension on 2007 Harley

Sorry, not up on new hogs but I think you remove plate off outer primary,it's got the foot peg mounted on it.Look through hole and you'll see the bolt that holds the chain support unit.Carefully loosen bolt and pry up or down, tighten or loosen, tension. You don't have belt right? some newer ones do.If you want hi-tech and yours doesn't have one already remove the outer primary and replace the "skidplate" adjuster with a roller type.Makes things quiet. There is room in the hole to check that you don't get chain too tight.

SOURCE: how to remove starter clutch on a 1998 Dyna Low

The starter clutch is an integral part of the starter assembly itself. You must remove the starter and disassemble it to get the "overrunning clutch" out. First take the starter off the bike. Then, remove the two long bolts and take the starter motor off of the drive housing. Then remove the bolts that hold the drive housing together. The overrunning clutch will come out of the drive housing. You will probably have to take the bearings off the original clutch and reinstall them on the new part. Reassemble the starter and reinstall it on the bike.

See the big cover with 5 screws directly under the seat?
That accesses the clutch push rod adjustment, and oil can be added through there.

How to replace ignition switch 2002 dyna low rider ?

1. Remove seat.

1WARNING

To avoid accidental start-up of vehicle and possible personal

injury, disconnect the battery cables before proceeding.

Inadequate safety precautions could result in

death or serious injury.

WARNING

Always disconnect the negative cable first. If the positive cable should contact ground with the negative cable installed, the resulting sparks may cause a battery explosion which could result in death or serious injury.

2. Disconnect battery cables, negative cable first.

3. Unscrew ignition/light lock ring. Push switch back through hole.

4. Cut switch wires approximately 3.0 in. (76 mm) from switch body. The new switch must be spliced into existing wiring harness using splice connectors.

5. After splicing new switch into wire harness, place switch into position. The word "TOP" is marked on the top of the switch body to allow for proper positioning of switch.

6. Install lock ring to secure switch in place.

1996 fxdl low rider brake light stays on all the time ?

One of the brake light switches, (front or rear) is most likely stuck or defective. To troubleshoot, locate the rear brake light switch and disconnect one of the wires, (either one). If the brake light goes out, replace that switch, if it doesn't, the problem is most likely at the front brake switch. Wiggle the front brake lever in and out to see if the brake light goes out. If not, it could be the switch or a worn out lever or, brake lever and switch housing are not properly seated together.

I need to know where and how do i remove the battery from my 2005 dyna low rider

The battery is under the seat on the right side of the bike. You must first remove the seat by removing the screw on the top of the rear fender that holds the seat in place...you can't miss the screw, it's a big chrome philips head screw. Once the screw is removed, lift the seat up slightly and gently pull towards the rear of the bike; this will release the front of the seat from it's retaining tab. Now that the seat is off, look at the right side of the bike, the chrome box there is the battery compartment. I believe the bolts connecting the battery are 10mm...you can undo them with a wrench and pull the battery out.
