First make sure you have ignition spark just remove the spark plug touch it on earth of bike and make a few turns of engine you should have on the edge of spark plug an ark. After you should check fuel pump if it drives fuel at carburator. Just take hose outer section and see if you have leak. At engine stop you should not have fuel.make few turns of engine.now you must have leak of fuel. If not replace the fuel pump . Be sure the vacume hose its not have been cut anywhere.

well i would start buy geting the rain water of the top of motor so i would start at hood seal if bad but new hood seal in you may have to go to dealer for it then if the spash gard is missing under car i would replace it with new one then see if car hard to start next time it rain should have no water at top of motor can couse all typ of isuse hope this helps

One wire is the flexible silicone rubber wire from the spark plug to the ignition coil. You don't have to strip or connect the other wire, just wrap it around the spark plug wire a few turns.The current from the spark ignition will induce a signal into the hour meter that the meter uses to determine when the motor is on or off. Make an ohmeter measure on coil of ignition pulse. Usually when the coil has problem with the insulation the ohmeter goes smaller.it has a specific range. Mine is from 820 to 890 ohm under 820 ohm you have to replace coil......the syptom begins when its not start easily ...or it gets wet
