Drain the petrol out of the carburetor and tank. leave the bleed screw open on the carb and let fresh petrol run through for a few seconds... try starting again and use some starting fluid. If it runs at all (even for a few seconds) then you know the carburetor needs cleaning. If it runs like **** ride it around for a bit, keeping the revs up high. If that doesnt work take the Carburetor to a mechanic to be cleaned or do it yourself.

What fluid is used in mobility scooters electronic brake for sterling sapphire

There is no fluids in either brake on on these, there is two braking systems, both electronically operated .when stopping or slowing up power generated in motor is returned to the battery .this rapidly retards the motor dynamically braking the scooter,a fraction of a second after stopping the electric parking brake is applied by removing its 24volt supply, this is the click you hear when starting or after stopping the scooter.the only servicing reqd is to dust of the casing of the electromagnetic parking brake. do not dismantle it,or oil it.to test try to push scooter,if it moves easily when NOT in freewheel.replace it.

My scooter was parked for more than 1 year ,, i charged the battery ,, it wont start and when i try to start , some petrol coming from down ,, when i parked it ,, it was without any problem

The carburetor is gummed up a bit from petrol evaporating over the past year. Remove the carb and then the float bowl on the bottom of the carb and then clean the carb with spray carb cleaner. Pay extra attention to the float needle area. A generic diagram is below. Please rate my answer. Thanks. tombones49_56.gif
