SOURCE: will not start no spark

There is a black and white wire near the coil the should be for the kill switch or on / off if you unplug that wire you will bypass the on / off switch.
The CDI unit on the Yamaha often does not provide a very bright spark and it's often very hard to see in daylight. First make sure you replace the plug, second make sure you have it grounded well on a part of the engine. Make sure you have something covering the spark plug hole because if gas comes out of the cylinder and the plug does fire you can ignite the bike on fire. (I know that one from experience). I'd be willing to bet you don't have an ignition problem unless the key is shorted out. Sounds like the bike was running fine until you shut it off and then would not refire, did you try to push start it?
First things first, double check the spark, like I said it's VERY hard to see in daylight.

SOURCE: 2006 crf100 no spark

You have 2 basic possibilities,

  • A kill switch is active
  • The ignition control module has gone bad
The stock spark plug is an NGK CR7HSA. Is a kill switch on? Does the side stand have a kill switch? Is it working properly? Check the operation of all kill switches with a volt ohmmeter.

Check the wiring harness. Did a wire come unplugged? Are all wires clean and with solid connections? Any abraded or pinched wires? If still no spark, get CDI system checked at the dealers shop.

SOURCE: i got a 01 yz 250 it gets spark every once in a

if the coils and CDIs have been replaced, you may want to check your wiring, this is usually caused by a damaged like grounding the frame and affecting the spark.

2002 seadoo gtx le popping the 5 amp mpem fuse

Not sure what you're dealing with, but it sounds like a short in the stator, as grounding the stator by putting a bolt in pops the fuse. Repair or replce the stator.

Battery will not hold charge

It sounds as if you have a loose connection. Check all the connections and get the Stator resistance checked.

Hi mate I would be getting someone to check resistance on your stator its a simple test only requires a multimeter but hard to explain on here - From what your saying I think this test could save your headache!
Once stators fail they can be completely unreliable such as allow you to push start but not kick start or allow you to start but as soon as bike warms up fails completely until cold again they even can give false reading when you test to see if spark is at the plug as you see spark but is not strong enough or is sparking at wrong time... I have had bikes come in my work shop where guys have been confident has spark and they have rebuilt and replaced everything you can imagine but all it was the stator failing with not enough resistance..

Car runs for 5 mins ,stalls, sometimes starts and sometime stalls

try checking the coil igniter, if this is faulty and it gets hot it will really make your car die but when its cold it will make your car run again.
