Jumps out of 3rd gear
Jumping out of 3rd gear on a 250 Venox is a design fault. The prongs (3 of them) on the sliding gear that hook into the slots in the fixed gear giving you 3rd gear ratio, are 2.5mm (two point five) too short. The only possible solution is to make them longer. I did just that, making very sure shut all three prongs touch and transfer power when in gear after allembly, that is crucial. I did that mod 15000km ago and had no problems. Watch out for a hidden bolt under one of the timing chain tensioner/slider when splitting the box.

That's the best way to get it right. Do what the manual tells you to do.
To check the oil
- Put the bike on level concrete on the center stand
- Check the oil with the dipper in the oil fill hole.
- Check it hot 10 mins after turning off the bike by unscrewing the oil fill plug, wipe the stick, and just dip it without screwing it back in, and check it for level.
- Pour in small amounts at a time to top it right up to the mark, but never ever over fill it.
- Screw back in the plug/dipper.

Oil filter
To change your oil filter remove oil drain plug drain oil into an oil pan clean and replace oil drain plug, then remove oil filter, pour a drop of clean oil onto a new oil filter, and lube gasket, then replace the old oil filter with the new oil filter. Finally, add clean oil to the motorcycle until the oil level window shows oil in the middle of the viewing window when the bike is upright. ,,,
No lights will work on my kymco scooter everything else works
Using a volt meter, check to see if there is voltage at the wire connector at the light. If there is enough voltage, then you have a bad light or bad ground. If no power, then look at the switch or a bad wire/connection .

Is there a main fuse that would of blown if I hooked my charger directly up to the + and - terminals on the starter on my 09 kymco venox 250 motorcycle?
