Where is bank1 and bank 2 located on a lincoln LS?

On all cars, the bank 1 is where the first piston is...Your firing order on that car which is the first piston...Buy a chilton or a repair manual for your car and it will tell you which firing order your motor has....Its usually on the right hand side...Passenger side...Rule of thumb if you look at the spark plugs the one closest too you is usually the first piston....Bank 1 is located on the same side as the first piston...I hope this helps...

    On either V6 or V8 Lincoln LS
    Both O2 Sensors are in the exhaust converters
    Bank #1 is on the right or passenger side,where cylinder #1 is
    Both engines have dual exhaust

    Hello guys I have a 2002 Lincoln Ls 3.9 I have had someone working on it an im not sure I agree with somethings that's going on to where the car is runing at its worst now. I had a vavel cover gasket replaced in the process' the gasket came off and was replaced again I'm now leaking no oil but it reads a code for cattilac convertors. So they cleaned them out and welded it bk closed. Its sputters an tried die read o2 sensors. Dude said they where all melted. I bout new ones from auto zone. Dude said they put them on an then I had code reader says p0174 fuel system to lean. Cylinder bank 2. Is to lean not enough fuel for pretended period of time. Help me. Im a single mother. Need my car.

Could have an intake manifold vacuum leak , weak fuel pump or fuel filter clogged , mass air flow sensor dirty or bad . There are videos on youtube checking lean conditions .

Code P0133 on Lincoln Ls V6 . What is the issue! Just hade 2 coils replaced, upper and lower manifold gaskets, brakes and both front wheel bearings. The PCV hose also replaced.

that is an oxegen sensor code front sensor bank 1.its on the side of the engine were #1 cylinder is located.probably bad, but it could be disconnected partialy or shorted to ground

How to locate the oxygen sensor in a LEXUS LS430 (Bank1 Sensor1)

the O2 sensor for bank one sensor one is located between the catalytic converter and the engine in the exhaust head pipe. see photo of your engine cylinder layout, the sensor u want to replace is the one at the cylinder #1 0aa2e73.gif bank on right.
