DTC P0755 - Shift solenoid valve B
This warning is turned ON or OFF by the Transmission Control Module (TCM) in response to signals sent from the park/neutral position (PNP) switch, vehicle speed and Engine Control Module (ECM) (throttle opening). Gears will then be shifted to the optimum position.

The P0755 code is detected when TCM detects an improper voltage drop when it tries to operate the solenoid valve.

Symptoms:
- Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
- Transmission will not shift gears.

Possible causes:
- Low transmission fluid level
- Dirty transmission fluid
- Faulty shift solenoid B valve
- Shift solenoid B valve harness or connectors
- Shift solenoid B valve circuit is open or shorted

When the a transmission solenoid is malfunction, in most cases the problem is not the electrical part of the solenoid; the problem is foreign material obstructing the mechanical function of the solenoid or the flow of the fluid through the transmission valve body. If the transmission fluid is very dirty, it is recommend changing the transmission fluid and if possible removing the transmission pan for further diagnosis. Excessive debris or metal particles on the transmission pan could be an indication that there is a transmission mechanical failure and that the transmission will need to be rebuilt or replaced.

Additional test details could find in this link about Repair/05/2011ne09/cip0755 (pdf)

Hope this helps (remember to rate and comment this answer).

P0755 Shift Solenoid B Malfunction...Possible causes are:
* Solenoid is stuck open or closed.
* Valve body clogged or valve stuck.
have the fluid changed and get a basic transmission service, some thing is caught in the valve body to throw this code, , if after the service ,, its still a problem you may have to change the sensor itself

Toyota camry 1996 transmission code P0755

This is a fault with auto trans shift solenoid B. It could be low or dirty fluid, the electrical connector, or the solenoid itself. First try draining and refilling the trans fluid, even twice over.

remove and clean idle air control valve. do not put whole valve in any liquid. just clean valve on end, do not push on valve end, or it will mess up idle setting. then clean around throttle plate in throttle body. there may be carbon around plate and its sticking, or no fully closing. this may help the idling. have a good day !! are the plugs and wires ok!! fix idle control valve first to see if that fixes it.
