Replace the output speed sensor on you 4 speed trans, 3.3 engines only have 4 speed transmissions. The output sensor is located next to the transfer gear. Or if you are looking the two sensors, it would be the one on the right.

P700 = PCM has a transmission code in the EATX controller, and P0731= Gear ratio error in 1st. Replace the output speed sensor and clear the codes.

I have a 06 Ford F-150 4X4 that has codes po731, po732, and p1000, which is sluggish on acceleration and has no overdrive. Any ideas?

The po700 codes are transmission related ( turbine codes ) if I recall. Usually the tranny control module will put the tranny in 2nd gear which will give you the sluggish feeling. I would suggest having a tranny pro look into this and isolate the problem for you

What is a PO731 & PO700 For a 97 dodge intrepid

Code 731 is for a problem with the gear ratio for first gear.
Code 700 is a general fault code that means you have a problem with the transmission control module or the transmission.
The 731 code can cause the 700 code, and the problem could be a speed sensor inside the transmission. The computer does not like the signal being sent from the transmission to the computer.

Obd2 code po700

Well looks like I have answered this question before for someone else.
Code 700 is for a problem with the transmission control module, 731 is incorrect first gear ratio, 841 is a problem with the low-reverse pressure switch, and 1776 is a problem with the low-reverse solenoid.
These components would need to be tested by a transmission shop.

2003 Dodge Neon SXT

Do check the motor mounts! Start the car, have a helper shift from reverse to drive! Is there a lotta engine movement?? Replace the faulty mounts. My quess it is almost flipping over! The output speed sensor likely on the back middle of the trans. There are only 2 connectors, the other is backup lights. Best I can do at this time! Frankster016
