When I pass 25 - 30 mph my car suddenly sounds like an airplane. It makes no sound when at a stop, only when in motion going past 30. at times it feels like it may be vibrating.

run fault codes and check for cam/crank position sensor fault. check that the cam shaft is turning over ( broken timing belt) The whistling sound is probably air from compression escaping past bent valves.

sounds like speedometer cable is gone or the gears between the cable and transmission which makes the reduction for sppedometer if no cable on that year they have a sensor

Check all the pipes on the intake to the engine it could be a pipe has come off or a clamp has come loose.

sounds like a catlytic converter problem.

check the fan clutch on the fan blade. It may have a bad bearing causing this noise

Sounds like you need a new accelerator cable

Ford,s stock computer shuts off the fuel at 113 mph, call summit racing and get a chip it stops the rev limiter

Have your Catalytic converters checked! Sounds like there getting plugged!

You need to stop driving it and have a repair shoppe look at it. Sounds like the engine might have blown. If it is it won't run much longer. good luck

When you passed the truck... I guess you couldn't tell if the pedal was stuck since you were focused on braking.

When you brake, your brakes will overcome the acceleration of the car causing it to slow down, but like you describe, the second you let go of your brake, your car accelerates again.

It would sound like either the throttle pedal (gas pedal), the throttle line (connects pedal to throttle assembly) or your throttle assembly (on the engine) may be sticking....
