First of all. The car is 15s not 16s. Has it is right now I have 195/r65 15 on it now and that never made a difference. So the 205s are closer to what I'm supposed to have on them in the first place. When I switched those over the tire dealer said as long as they were all the same the 195 wouldn't make a difference. So know it will be closer in size so I assume they should be fine.
Take it to a tyre shop and they will tell you if it is possible
if you have standard 6 "X 15" rims probably not
there should be a tyre decal on the door edge/ opening that states the max. permitted tyre on your vehicle

No. You do NOT want to put 15" rims on this car. That will change a lot of things, and they all will be bad. The 15" rims will create problems with the ABS, and the ABS will not work properly.
Secondly, the speedometer will be way off, as the speedo is calibrated for the 16s. Third, and probably most important, your handling will be severly compromised. Please don't do the 15s.
Its not worth the problems that you will encounter.
a FixYa rating (4 blue diamonds) would be appreciated for my input.
SOURCE: mixing tire sizes
You can replace, but not mix. All the tires on the car needs to be the same size for traction control and ABS system. Having two different size tires on the car will cause problems. Just keep them all at the same size P215/60R15 or P205/65R15 only.

SOURCE: Can I place 4 215/75/R15
The 215's will give you less ground clearance and may affect your speedometer accuracy a bit. Other than that and that it may look a bit different, there should be no real problem.

If the tire size is the same , for example 215/70/14, you can use them, otherwise, they may not be correct for your vehicle. Good luck...Coop

Toyota Ed is dead wrong. The factory original rims ARE 15". Devon Sacco got it right.
