I believe that your fuel pump is dying. Sometimes they don't just dye immediately. Your problem sounds like your engine is starving for fuel. You can tell by doing a fuel preasure test. Good Luck Friend.

Should be easy to access-there must be a relay block behind the glove box, or underneath the dash. You will have to make sure what relay this is doing the clicking. I guess if you pulled it out and the fuel pump won't turn on, that could be a clue. Best test is to check your fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge, especially when it is acting up. Then you will know if you have a fuel pump problem or not.

This is timing slop, when you take your foot off the gas pedal, the timing chain or ignition has no more load and gets loose and the timing changes.

The most likely leak on any engine is the water pump, go under the car and look at the bottom of the water pump are there coolant stains or dips on it?

Bad coolant temp sensor is telling ECU engine is warm when it is still cold. Kind of like running with no choke function. Easy fix.

Check the transmission shift solenoids, there should be 3 of them. You have to drop the tranny pan to get to them.

George could be a plugged catalytic, it would be good to get it scanned because if engine light has flashed, there may be stored codes, which may give better diagnosing. the most common issue with the older legacy cruise control units was either the clockspring wiring or the main control unit has becomes faulty. The clockspring is behind the steering wheel and the coil wiring inside dries out and breaks. The fix is to replace the clockspring or just the coil wiring inside. The main unit can fail one of two ways either the vacuum hose leaks from age and drying out or the internal seals fail. the fuse link is the main power disconnect for the fuse box power from the battery

If you mean the release arm that goes into the transmission, removal of the transmission is required. If you mean the rod from the slave cylinder to the release arm, undo the two bolts that secure the slave cylinder, and the rod will come out.
