My 2000 Cadillac DTS over heats intermittently. It happens while driving and may only happen once a month.

Try to check for codes using a code reader. It could be the temperature sensor is going out.

trans vacuum or vent tube is too low needs to be put bck on top of trans

The stability control system is typically triggered by the abs system/connector sensor on your wheel hub bearing. If you haven't replaced your hub bearings on the front you may have one going bad. Cheap fix for a diy.

Some problems are intermittent. If the engine check light is now off (except momentarily when you turn on the ignition and start) and staying off, just drive on.

Please verify year make model. I cannot find Cadillac DTS in 2004.

I have a 2001 Cadillac DTS with the exact same problem. Nobody including the dealer could figure out what was wrong. I replaced all the coils and the problem stopped happening for a while. Eventually I sold the car for parts. Feh! Very disappointed in Cadillac.

it is your window regulator...expect them all to go out.all four went out in my 2000 dts within a couple months..buy aftermarket or you'll be payin about 300 for just the regulator.they are real easy to replace by yourself.

First things first don't use Dexcool.

It would happen only once in a while likely because the overflow bottle doesn't always fill to the point of where the leak is located. It would be very easy to unbolt the bottle and fill it with water to find the leak and patch it up.

i have a 2000 deville dts has a vibration driving down the highway have put new tires new axels new brakes nothing helps any solutions
