Hello, my BUICK LESABRE 2005 annual time to have tires rotated and brakes checked...so i did this....after they did this the AIRBAG LIGHT was on and wouldn't go off. called back KAL TIRE AND asked why this suddently appeared...no problem before? asked them if they had disconnected the ground to the battery? maybe this would disconnect the computer from being set off when they checked the brakes and rotated the tires?,they said no way ... said it wasn't their fault nothing they did....can I suggest that maybe they bumped the sensor... and set it off and it doesn't take much a wrench dropped on the radiator near the sensor does it?...KAL TIRE told me it is 250 bucks approx to replace the sensor....any helpful suggestions or ideas on this? Teresa

Have a different shop put a scan tool on the car,
and look at the ABS Data

Then you will have a second opinon

Don't mention all the brake and tire work or
your questions about the what if's or what happened,
at the other tire place

Right rear tire is locked up

Hello,
If you are unable to fix yourself, than yes you can drive it to local shop. You still have front brakes working.
If you can repair yourself start by removing rear tire than brake drum and look for broken parts. Most likely they will fall out when you remove drum.
Replace worn or broken parts which are inexpensive for your car.
Check for leaking fluid from broken break lines and check fluid level under hood. Keep me informed N I'll help. Paul

Buick lesabre starts vibrating at 45 mph and stops around 55 mph...the steering wheel does not shake much but you can feel it vibrating just the same.....had new tires put on and balanced for the 2nd...

A vibration such as you are talking about could be caused by more then one thing. First it could be caused by a broken belt in one of your tires. I could also be caused by a bent rim, a warped rotter, or a bad cv joint. I hope this helps you solve your problem.

The low tire pressure light keeps coming on and i need to know how to fix it. 2005 buick lesabre

Put whatever air pressure you use, in all your tires,
don't forget to check the pressure in the
spare.

If light stays on ,go to a tire store,
as a wheel valve stem assy, may have failed

TPMS (tire pressure monitor system)

Brakes are burning up

Check the rubber brake hoses. Many times they internally fail and prevent calipers from releasing.

Seems loike the emergency brake is on but its not

If you have the capability to lift your tires using you cars jack try to rotate all tires at a time. make sure you have not engage to any gear anghand barke off and make sureto put a safety block on the opposite tire you are lifting. if you have hard time to rotating your tire wich is lifted and on nuetral positon your brakes are stuck. Have a good mechanic check it for you

Transmission Traction "Off" light stays lit with Traction button

The traction control system is controlled through the Anti-lock brake system. The way it works is if one of your wheels starts spinning the ABS applys the brake to that wheel to transfer power to the oppsite wheel that is getting traction. If your ABS is bad then your Traction control won't work. To check it I would find a parking lot on a wet day. In an open space mash in the gas. if you hear the ABS system kick in and you don't squall the tires then your good. My guess is you won't. What I would be worried about is will my ABS work. When checking the traction control is a good time to check the ABS. Acclerate to around 15 mph, then mash the brake as your live depended on it. If you hear a motor run and feel a vibration or grind in the brake peddal, then it works.
