1987 ford f150 cranks and wants to start but when i let go of the key it stops and ideas on what it could be it was just fine last night before my girlfriend decided to clean the truck do i have a major problem or is the truck just in shock from being cleaned . my girlfriend says she pulled on some wiers but she say she reconnected them and does not remember what wires they were so I 'm at a total loss (she aint that bright but a hell of a lot of fun)

You'll have to play "detective" look for contacts/connections that look unusually clean like they were newly disconnected.
