Probably the heater and A/C programmer (APC) - should be on the passenger end of the HVAC box under the dash.

replace the relay , when a relay sticks like that , a good test is to slap it with something like the handle of a screw driver , see if it un-sticks , its not a fix , just a test . cheers'

AC Heater

It sound like the blower wheel of the blower motor is rubbing the inside of the housing (the smoke). Sounds like the blower wheel rubbing may have burned the inner plastic housing or has come off of the motor shaft inside. Take the blower motor and wheel back out and inspect everything closely I think you will find the problem.

2001 mercury grand marquis ac/heater blower doesnt work

You have to check all associated fuses and relays then check power at the blower motor resistor located under the hood on the passengers side on the heater a/c plenum against the firewall under the rear coolant hose going into the back of intake. ..do the tap test and see if blower cones on

AC or heater fan does not work?

The most common problem with these fans are the fan itself wears out, or the relay becomes burnt at the contacts inside, or both.

Blower Motor REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. If necessary on 1992 and 1993 Typhoons, remove the charge air cooler. For details, please refer to Section 3 of this manual. Fig. 1: Example of a common blower motor installation - vehicles without A/C shown 85386001.gif

  3. Disconnect the blower motor cooling tube.
  4. Disengage the electrical connector(s) from the blower motor, as necessary. NOTE: On some earlier models equipped with A/C, it may be necessary to disconnect the A/C vacuum tank and move it aside.
  5. Remove the blower motor-to-case screws, then carefully withdraw the blower motor from the case. To install:
  6. Install the blower motor to the case and secure using the retaining screws.
  7. Engage the electrical connector(s) to the motor, as necessary.
  8. If moved on early model vehicles, reposition and secure the A/C vacuum tank.
  9. Connect the blower motor cooling tube.
  10. If removed on 1992 and 1993 Typhoons, install the charge air cooler.
  11. Connect the negative battery cable. Fig. 2: Disconnect the blower motor cooling tube 86616001.jpg

My heater and AC blower not working. Please help

In the fuse block, under the hood on top of the fender. Locate fuse #35 it's 40amp fuse for the blower moter. If the fuse is ok,there is another
common problem you can check. The blower moter resistor assembly,
located under the dash on right side. With a 12v test light check for
power to the blower moter from the resistor. If you have no power to the
moter, replace the resistor assembly. If niether of these works, I'll need
to know if you have climate control or manual control hvac. And for some reason, the wheel base. long wb or short wb. to dig any deeper.
But I hope one of the causes I've mentioned will cure the problem.
Good luck.

AC N MY CAR

Brushes on the motor may be going bad. Blower motor is in engine compartment under wiper motor assembly. The blower motor regulator is under the blower motor. There is an A/C relay behind the fuse box under the screwed down cover.
for lack of motor speed its probably the brushes on the motor or the regulator. If no cold air your charge is probably to low to engage the compressor.
