Engine oil for cold climates 5w-30. Warmer climates 10w-30. Any Auto-zone parts store person at the counter would be more than helpful choosing the correct fluids for your vehicle.

What auto transmission fluid do i put into chrysler grand voyager se

If you read the back of any trans fluid bottle, it tells
you what it is for

Chrysler uses ATF+4 in most cases

If you have a drip stick, it should be stamped on it

Owners manual is a must if you own a vehicle &
you can always check with dealer service dept

When accelerating getting loud noise from rear end

Your problem may be a simple fix or a costly one.I would check that the rear end was at its proper fill level usually you want the fluid right under the check plug.you will want to check the owner manual for the amount of fluid you should put in it.You dont want to overfill it because it can cause the fluid to foam up .and if you need to add make sure of the fluid specs. Not all diff fluids are the same some take a synthetic fluid or an additive.I hope that this will help you out and it ends up just being low on fluid rather than you having to replace the rear end.

I have a 94 nissan quest and the column wont budge

Have you checked the tranny fluid could be low on fluid. This would cause it not to shift or jump into gear. Also make sure the shifter is moving on the tranny a linkage could have come loose.

03 voyager changed transmission fluid now harsh shift at 28-30 mph. It goes away in 75 miles? I have heard that the tranny is "learning" with the new fluid. How do I shorten the learning period.

If you have the overdrive model, you need to be sure you used the right fluid. If you used Dextron/Mercon you need to put an addative in it. I always put Lube Guard, (Make sure you use the black bottle) after every chrysler I rebuilt because I only had Dextron III in my bulk tank. What ever you do, make sure you do not put in an addative that states it helps to seal leaks. This type has an addative that makes the seals softer and can effect the lif seals in the drums over time. If you can't find anything else, put a bottle of limited slip diferential addative into the dip stick.

If you happen to have the three speed, look closely at the throtle cable that goes from the throtle body down to the trans and make sure it is not hanging up.
