You could have a bad head gasket. If the coolant isnt leaking on to the ground, or visible inside the engine comparment, then it is leaking into your engine and mixing with the oil.

Could just be the water pump - It is internal and when leaking, goes right into the oil pan - Working on mine right now - was told it was head gasket but found it was the water pump after removing the front cover....If it is the water pump, be sure to flush the system out well - you'll have a lot of build up in the engine!

I have a 1990 Ford Ranger 2.3 very high miles. Vehicle runs, starts and idles well. Does not visibly burn oil. Check engine light comes on at around 65 miles an hour after vehicle is warm. If you slow down...

Best guess with the information provided is restricted flow of the catalytic convertors. At higher speed the rpm's stay consistant. If the cats are not allowing the exhuast to push thru unrestricted the engine will know its labored but not why.

Oil light flickers on and off however dipstick is showing full of oil. Suggestions? Thanks....

One of two things may be happening. If the oil light stays off until the engine warms up and then begins to flicker on/off when you are idling & in gear [say at a stop sign] then you could actually have low oil pressure due to worn internal engine parts, OR, you could have a faulty sending unit that is reading the pressure incorrectly [usually low] and turning on the light. The best way to find out for sure is to have someone remove the sender and thread in an oil pressure test gauge to check and see exactly how much oil pressure you really have when the engine is first started and fully warmed up. You could just simply replace the sender and if the flickering is gone after that then you should be ok but if the flickering continues then odds are you actually do have low oil pressure. I would strongly recommend having the oil pressure tested for peace of mind then you'll know for certain what is happening. Engine bearings don't survive very long without sufficient oil pressure so you should have it checked out asap.

White smoke from tailpipe and low oil pressure

How's the anti-freeze doing? Usually when you see white smoke coming out the tailpipe it's because you are getting anti-freeze in the exhaust somehow. Try to sniff it a little does smell like anti-freeze, or oil? I don't know why the oil pressure would be low unless you are getting anti-freeze in the oil. Does the oil look milky, knda like chocolate milk? The low oil pressure could also be a faulty gauge, you may want to have a mechanic put a mechanical gauge on the car for test purposes.

My 04 dodge stratus oil light comes on when i slow down or come to a stop, but turns off as i go

Sounds like your oil level is too low.
When you slow down or stop, your oil levels out and is too low for the gauge to read.
When you speed up, your oil sloshes and splashes the sensor, thus making it appear that it is circulating properly, when it actually isn't.

Is your temperature high, too?

86 lincoln town car oil light flickers

There is a sensor on the driver side on the oil pan. Either the sensor is bad, or has bad connection or you are a quart low.
