Please check the horn relay for malfunction and wires for kinks and loose connection.

First check the fuse. If that is ok, run a wire from the battery to the live wire of the horn see it blows. If that works, locate the relay for the horn and check that. The last resort is the horn button and the associated wiring. If the horn button is located in the steering wheel, there will be a slip ring contact that could also go faulty, but work more or less in the order laid out.

Fuse box diagram for 1997 nissan altima

According to wikipedia, the 1st-generation Nissan Altima was offered from 1992-1997. We have a 1996 nissan altima and attached is a photo of the inside of our fuse box. I also found another page that gives the same info for the 1997. I am sure this diagram would work for the 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, or 1997 Nissan Altima.

I have a 2005 Nissan Altima and my horn don't work

you may have a problem with the clock spring or spiral cable as nissan calles it. it is a part of the air bag system and also horn signal runs into and out of it.if that part is bad, your air bag light will flash and your horn will not work. has anyone been doing any repairs inside of the steering wheel?? it may just be unpluged. if you are going to tackle this your self to look inside of the steering wheel, make sure you disconnect the battery for at least 3 minutes, befor you start playing with the air bag. you dont want to blow it up.

I have a 2003 nissan almera and the horn has stopped working. How do I fix it?

There are three reasons for the horn going out. It could be a blown fuse "check the owners manual for fuse location", check the wiring at the connection on the horn "corrosion often occurs", or the the horn itself is bad. Hope that helps!
