Shocks you can get at any spares place, watch places like Supaquick and Speedy's, they have specials from time to time, two for the price of one type of thing. Midas and Autozone also do specials and advertise in their pamphlets. Sonny's in Actonville, Benoni are also pretty cheap. There are are places all over Gauteng that repair bumpers, try them or use the yellow pages and phone around the scrap yards. Last resort unfortunately is the agents but that will probably cost you lots of Rands.

How to take a spare tire off gmc envoy 2004

Since the spare is mounted under the rear of the car, Its not easy...you have to assemble the long crank rod out of its two pieces, then feed the rod through the hole in the top of the rear bumper and lock it into the mechanism that holds the tire in place. Once the crank rod is locked in, lower the tire towards the ground. Once the tire is low enough, you can crawl under the car and release the tire from its mount. The hardest part is locking the crank rod into the spare tire mechanism through the hole in the bumper.

Where is the compressor for the rear air shocks located on a 97 cadillac deville?

It is located behind the Passenger side rear tire. If jacked up and you climb under from rear bumper look to your left in between gas tank and tail exhaust. Good sized box with wire harness and clip on it.
Also if your air ride is not working in some cases the Air shock(s) may be defective the pump will not kick on

I need to remove the spare tire from underneath my 2004 Escalde?

The spare is held in place by a cable hoist, the the tool kit for changing tires has the crank to lower the spare. the access hole is through the bumper in most cases, look under the rear bumper u will see the crankin down access easily that way.

Air Suspension plomlem

1. make sure the switch is on (under the passenger side dash board). 2. check to make sure the relay is good (black little box under the right front bumper. 3. there are two (that I know of) switches/sensors.  1 is behind the left front tire.  The other is up behind the spare tire.  Taking the spare tire off gives you tons of room to work with.  The sensors look like mini shock absorbers with black rubber and can be compressed and pulled easily by hand.  Moving those will simulate the suspension going up and down and should trigger the compressor. 4. if the compressor doesn't come on (and all the above is fine) it sounds like your compressor is bad and should be replaced.  I got one from Arnott Industries in Florida and they have been very nice to work with so far.
