It is either your TPS (Throttle possition sensor) or your IAC valve (Idle Air Control). The TPS can be adjusted But the IAC has to be replaced. Both are not that expensive to do...

how do you adjust the TPS? What do you use?

2005 Ford Five Hundred. Once the car warms up and you try to come to stop without putting in neutral the car just revs high but won't move.

Question edited into written English.
Question moved to model category.

It sounds like you have and unusual and flawed driving technique.

Manual or Automatic?

Automatic. You never use neutral unless you are in a car wash that drags your car by the wheels. Decelerate, foot on the brake and into Park. Your right foot does both brake and accelerator, left foot does nothing. I saw a lady 2 days ago with left foot on the brake and right foot on the accelerator.

Manual. Downshift through the gears, right foot on the brake, left foot on the clutch and into neutral and hand brake on.

If you are doing that, the vehicle needs diagnosis why it is happening.

Fiesta revs struggling

ive seen transmissions cause this in high-end luxery cars... but that being said..

-sounds like your fuel filter is clogged. (i just shake mine out and run carb cleaner in it, which i do every 15,000 miles)
-could also be fuel pump
-loose battery terminal
-bad alternator
-clogged MAF sensor

Hi, Purchased a Ford focus estate 1.6 TDCI 2007 six months ago. After two weeks I brought car in for a routine service new tyres, roof bars and a timing belt change and spent 1000 euro at the dealers. ...

pop into local scrap yard and get a crank position sensor, fit it and if it works DAH DAH.. its not always best to fit 2nd hand parts because of reliability. but there no way off testing it because its an intermittent fault. if it cures it buy a brand new one ( or keep 2nd hand one on til that goes )

Rough, chugging when driving and conking out

Could also be a faulty mass air flow meter, or throttle position sensor. It's hard to tell, you need to take it to a shop to be properly diagnosed.
