Welll.... It's time to use a test light. Take the main fuse out and test all the wires on it for power. Determin which wire is driving lights (tail lights) and i would hot wire it to either a power wire from the dash or from the Tail lights. This just might fix everything.
Please leave a good feedback for me on here.
Thanks
Hope this helps.
Hi,
Autozones glossary is limited on your model on this issue. Im thinking a grounding problem you can find out by back feeding the lights. its not recommended but you can try it. try at your own risk. find the hot ash tray light wire and apply power to it using an in line fuse set with a five amp fuse in it. from switched fused power from the fuse box to the hot illumination ash tray light wire. use a multimeter to find your ground wire the other is your dead line. ground wire should be black. the running lights the same. if the side marker light is working make a fused jumper from the hot marker to the dead line from the running lights, use in line fuse setup at auto parts store. 5 amp for dash and 10 amp for tail.my grand prix had more than one fuse box and one more under the hood! totalling three. make sure you check all of them, go to autozone, sign up for free and study where ALL the fuseboxes are. if you cant get any lighting at all doing the above I recommend taking it to an auto electric shop in your area. back feed lighting is your last resort untill you take it in. carry a fire extinguisher now just in case. tighten all ground wires in the process of your illumination.
