2004 grand prix all of the power buttons not working

If none of the power buttons on your 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix are working, it could be caused by a few different issues. Here are a few possible causes and solutions:
Fuses - There may be a blown fuse related to the power windows or door locks. Check the fuse box and replace any fuses that are blown.Relay - There may be a relay that controls the power windows or door locks that is faulty. A mechanic will need to diagnose and replace the relay if necessary.Wiring - There may be a problem with the wiring that connects the buttons to the power windows or door locks. A mechanic will need to diagnose and repair or replace any damaged wiring.Switch - The switch that controls the power windows or door locks may be faulty. A mechanic will need to diagnose and replace the switch if necessary.Body Control Module (BCM) - The BCM (Body Control Module) may be faulty which controls the power windows and door locks, and other features on the vehicle. A mechanic will need to diagnose and replace the BCM if necessary. It's important to have the vehicle inspected by a qualified mechanic to diagnose the problem and perform the necessary repairs. Some of the issues can be easy to fix, but some require more extensive repairs and knowledge of the systems.

Which fuse on my 2006 ford mustang 6 cylinder is for the power windows.

Click on the link for part of wiring diagram. You can see fuse and relay in smart junction box. The smart junction box, behind right hand lower A pillar panel, passenger side. I can't walk you through it, because I'd have to look at it.

Hey Joe, not trying to bug you. If I spend time trying to find info, I'm going to post it, regardless of how many answers on the post. You should do the same. Have a good day.

I think you are the victim of an otherwise good idea; theft protection that has disabled the electrical system.

I believe you will have better luck going to an MB forum and posting your question there:

The windows just stopped working...checked fuses nothin is wrong

Check your buttons on the control panel. You should have 1 that is horizontal to the layout, usually at the rear of the drivers door control panel. This is a safety lockout for all the power windows. It makes the windows not work so kids can not play with the windows or animals kept inside the car can not accidently run the windows and get caught by putting their paws on a control with the head out the window.
Usually there is a relay on each door, but you could have broken a power relay before a fuse had the opportunity to break. Autozone.com website has free fusebox and wiring diagrams for free. Just register your vehicle and the diagrams are free.

My power door lock switch will not work

If none of the switches work on any of the doors, then it's a fuse/relay problem. If just one switch is the problem then check the power to the switch. Sometimes the wire harness becomes disconnected underneath the switch from slamming the doors. Hope this helps.

My power window s dont work

if none of them work look for a master fuse in the fusebox, or even a relay or fuseable link under the hood. your local auto parts store might be able to tell you the location of these

The fuse box and to fix my power windows

Pull the accessory relay out of the power box, turn on the key, and probe the relay socket with a voltmeter or test light. There should be two hot terminals. One turns on the relay and one powers the windows.
