You would vacuum the system then fill with coolant into the vacuum using the same connection as they do at the factory.Any garage will have a cooling system vacuum refill set.

Coolant is low in my 1999 intrigue.. just bought it with 38,000 miles.. it says to put dex-cool in it.. should I?

If it has dex-cool in it now then yes add dex-cool to it. So if the antifreeze is orange add dex-cool and if its green add the green antifreeze. It won't hurt it to switch the antifreeze but if you are topping it off, add what is already in it.

How to 'bleed' the coolant in a 99 Olds Intrigue?

where the top radiator hose goes into the top of the engine is where the bleeder is up on top of where the hose goes in. mine is a copper like flathead screw looking thing ! fill the radiator and loosen the bleeder a little and wait for the coolant to start spraying a straight stream of coolant out of the bleeder! hope this helps!
