If it isn't the 30 amp PARK LPS fuse in the engine compartment, it must be the relay or body control module, as that provides the ground power to the relay. That would not explain why the dash light are out though, as they don't use the relay.

Tailights, dont work and dash lights. headlights work, fuses good, brake lites work. please advise

First any loose tire or stroller is to blame ...however from the left rear door to the left rear side of tail light is the wire harness then splits off to each socket ..you test backward until tracking down the main hot red or blue or green wire.

98 ford lariat. Headlights stopped working. running lights come on and brake lights and turn signals. checked all fuses under dash and under hood, pulled out headlight switch and it looks fine. note only...

Is this both the high beams and low beams that do not work ?

If you checked all 3 fuses with a meter ( with the headlamp in Low position for both low beam fuses or in high for the high beam fuse ), the next items to test are the MFS ( MultiFunction Switch ) and the main headlamp switch ( test not look at it ).

The main headlamp test chart

My tail lights don't work, but my brake lights do?...

Could be a double fillerment bulb, replace it . Second option replace fuse. If that does not work and the parking lights, some dash lights dont work also it could be the worst option. the headlight switch. difficult to access behind the dash.

Hi,maybe i can shed some light on the situation. Are we sure it is the stop(brake light)lights that we are talking about?Or is it the tail light?I it is the tail lights, then it is most likely the head light switch itself. The dash light and running lights(tail lights)run threw the headlight switch. If I can assist you any more on this problem, let me [email protected]
