Yes. Instead of buying a junk yard unit, buy a REBUILT unit from a rebuilder. They'll program it with the latest software and give you a warranty. These guys are good

SOURCE: new climate control unit but when on blower not working for heat or ac

I'm assuming the problem is the blower motor isn't coming on or working. 1st, check the fuse. 2nd, remove the glove box or pull the 2 tabs that act like stops when it's open ( the glove box will open out further) and you'll see the power plug connector for the blower unit. Turn on the blower through the climate control (heat, A/C, or whatever) and wiggle the connector to see if the blower turns on. If starts working, then an easy solution is pull the connector off and gently press the prongs together or inward. Then carefully reconnect with damaging the prongs. This worked for 96 Mark VIII due to the fact the prongs were not "seating" correctly in the female connector. It's been about 2 years since I did this and the connection is still good. If wiggling the plug doesn't work, pull the plug, turn on the climate control (heat, A/C), and check for voltage to the plug. That's about all I can help with.

If the driver's blend door actuator has failed completely, or the wiring to it is damaged, you will not hear any clicking. Check for appropriate voltage at the blend door actuator, and determine from there if it's the actuator or the control unit.

When I start my 1994 New Yorker the blower motor blasts on high and blows hot air and none of the dials or the buttons on the climate control head work

Assuming you have already checked all the fuses, you probably have a failed Body Control Computer, which manages operation of climate control, radio, lighting, alarms, and a host of other functions. Your Chrysler technician can confirm that. Be warned: a BCC can cost a LOT of money, as in many '90s Chrysler products, they had to be programmed at the factory for your specific vehicle; a junkyard unit will not work in any car but the one it came in.

Climate control knob not working passenger side

It's probably not the fuse, if it was both sides wouldn't work. It sounds to me like it's the knob that's become disconnected or broken. You'll need to remove the head unit and troubleshoot. Please add year, and model, trim and I might be able to point you in the right direction to troubleshoot.

Heat blows hot on passenger side but cool on driver's side

Most likely it is the climate control unit. Had the same issue with my 99 Regal, replaced the climate control unit and haven't had any issues since. Might try Digital Dash Solutions on eBay, they will ship you a refurb at1/3 price of buying from a dealer if they have one available. If not, they also have a climate control repair service. I'm not certain that they fix Pontiac products, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.

The power seat on my 2001 chevy blazer doesn't work

you can't realistically buy a new one so your choices are:

find a similar used non power seat in a junkyard, unbolt yours and bolt it in. then buy seat covers which more or less match the rest of your interior

find a similar used working power seat in a junkyard, unbolt yours and bolt it in. then buy seat covers which more or less match the rest of your interior.

find a used similar working power seat in a junkyard, unbolt yours and swap the internal working electrical parts from the one in the junkyard, then bolt yours back in.

Front climate control blower only works on high speed.

Replace your blower motor resistor
Resistor located under dash on passenger side in screwed into blower housing. May be able to be repaired. Requires soldering a small piece of "unmelted solder" across where the old fusible link was. look carefully at resistor. Or else just replace. Buy new. Junkyard resistor likely to be as bad as yours.

Display on climate control screen is out and i don't see any type of description on fuse panel that fits this problem. AC, heater, fan, everything else works but the display.

U must remove the climate control unit from the dash and remove the top cover of the unit, u will find a tiny twist in light bulb socket with a tiny little light bulb, this provides the backlight for the AC/heater display, u can buy the bulb at any auto parts store, couple of bucks.

HEATER LIGHTS IN CONTROL PUSH BUTTONS ON 200 BUCIK LESABRE

(i've got an 04 limited. i just soldered in new bulbs for the lighting controls panel (5 #272-1092) and the digital HVAC panel (1 #272-1092 and 5 #272-1154). steering wheel control bulbs are next. )

Just buying a cheap Used one may be the best, if you are not good with dis-assembly and soldering small electric bulbs
Depending on the style you can get a Used One from an online junkyard for 25-50 USD
Check LKQonline out..
http://stores.ebay.com/LKQonline

The most difficult part is getting the Climate Control Module out of the dash, to make the soldering new bulbs repair. The wood-grain Bezel needs to come off, BE CAREFULL, its long and flexible and can crack easy if the wrong pressure is applied or its cold outside or cold in the car cab. Its held in the dash with GM friction clips ( pain in the %$#) and 2 Phillpis screws behing Glove Box door. I worked the pull- pressure from the A/C vent on Right, left-ward to the center, and from Steering Column right-ward toward the center. Once the Bezel is removed, the Climate Control Module is seen, with 4 push-tabs on each corner. BE CAREFULL pushing in the tabs....I broke off one as in pushed too hard. Pry out Right side while pushing 2 right-side tabs gently together. Repeat for the Left Side, while pushing 2 left-side tabs together gently. The Climate Control Module should pop out. Use a 3/8inch Nut Driver to remove the headless screws that hold the Climate Control Module PushButton plate to the box. This will expose the Printed Circuit Board for solder replacement of the Bulbs.
