2000 mitsubishi diamante has spark has fuel up to the injectors and power but wont start.

crank sensor is the main sensor for the ignition. with this failing the engine will not start or even try to start. what you could have is a compression spark this would feel like its starting but not. cam sensor fail it will start but will have no adjustment on timing. injector relay relay this will stop the engine running fuel pump relay same. even an alternator problem can stop the engine from running if it has the link from the starter to the alternator. depending on engine. but if the alternator light goes out while turning engine over its not this one.

If it cranks but won't start, you will need to find out if it has no spark to the plugs or no fuel to the injectors.
In this case it could be a fuel pump or pump relay.

Check your fuel system: From might be dirty: Spark plug, Fuel filter, fuel pump, fuel injector, EGR and your high voltage and also your distributor check it also. Some the computer box faulty..

check to see if there is any spark from the spark plug. Take out a plug and hold it (in pliers) close to a metal part of the motor and get someone to turn it over. you should see a small spark. If not then check dizzy cap and rotor

1 see if you are getting spark 2 if not ecm is bad, or cap,or distributor 3 if yes timming is off hope this helps

is it possible the rotor is in the wrong position remove cap and rotor and flip the rotor 180 degrees and you might get lucky hope this helps good luck

You should not be able to hear the fuel pump running as the fuel system should be continually pressurised. If you can hear the pump running (i assume with just the ignition on) i would suggest the pump is faulty and not delivering the required fuel pressure to open the injectors.
