1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8, distributor rotates counter clockwise
Ford cylinders are numbered 1-4 from front of right bank, 5-8 from front of left bank as you look from the back of the engine. Cylinder numbers may be marked on the intake manifold. Firing order may be marked there too.

Open the hood on the vehicle. Look for a series of single-digit numbers that are factory-stamped on the intake manifold directly behind the distributor.the firing order should be

The firing order is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8. #1 is the first one on the driver's side of the rear cap clip. The distributor turns counter-clockwise. Hope this helps.
