Rear lights won't cut off even when I cut the car off

If power windows and the same window does not open the child safety switch is a very good possible reason.

The tail lights dont have anything to do with the engine running or not.. you mean the brake lights are on? all the time? all of them, or just the one in the back window? If the back window brake light doest work the bulb is bad. If the brake lights stay on, the switch may be bad, out of adjustment, or the bumper for the switch fell out/broken.

Open your trunk and look on the underside of the "rear dash" towards the center. You either can replaces bulb by twisting the pigtail going to the light or you may have to unscrew a couple of bolts to remove the brake light housing. Hope this helps.

Thru the trunk. Peel back the inside covering( may have retainer screws or buttons) you will either see the individual sockets or a cple additional screw/bolt/nuts. Most likely will be retainer buts. remove those and the lens will fallout(be ready to catch it) the replace bulbs as needed and reinstall in reverse order from removal.

Replace Trunk Lock Cylinder , Opens up With Power Button or Release Lever ? If not the rear Seat comes out Simple and W/ Light You Can Open turnk Through the Rear Seat Opening. Hope this Helps
