have you done a fuel pressure test?? if so then the problem is in the pressure regulator. it is located on the drivers side on the fuel rail back toward the back of the motor toward firewall. it is round and will have a plastic line coming out of the front of it, pretty simple to change
there is a panel under the steering wheel which goes across..there are 2 small black what looks like knobs under it one on each side,. if you turn them they will come out and the panel comes off the fuse box is on the left hand side of the steering column, below the light switch, and above the parking brake lever, once the panel is off you will see the fuse box..
well i dont have a diagram but the run from the fuel tank along the drivers side frame to a frame mounted fuel pump then up to the engine. you can figure out what one is the return line by the fuel pump. the one that does not go to it is the sending not the return.
It goes behind the intake on the passenger side if you have fuel enjected motor it's a little bit tough to reach or even see but that's were the factory line runs
The only way air can get in the fuel line is if you have a hole in it! Problem of course is were? I would run the fuel line from back to front and back again. Look for any wet spot that you can find. You may even have to drop the tank to ba able to look on top. I would suspect the problem is in the line before the high preasure pump, being as you are pulling air into the system. I have seen leaky lines allow air in, but not let fuel out.
