Unless you have shop technical manual,please don't even think about trying to disarm your anti-theft system because there is an easier solution. I'm assuming that you don't have the full Shop Service Manual. If you do, then you know that a shop manual costs at least $100.

So why did I say: Don't even think about it? Your anti-theft device is capable of causing problems that you don't want to deal with. If you have the dealer do the job, the cost can be prohibitive. The anti-theft device tells the on-board computer to shut off the fuel flow and to disengage the starter circuitry.

SOLUTION: Go on eBay and buy an anti-theft bypass module for $10-$20 depending on the year and make of your vehicle.

Well, althought you don't belive it, sometimes, people don't check most common and main things such as:
All fuses with next letters: A/C, HVAC, HVAC 1, HVACB, And also make sure you have only one fuses module, chevy trucks sometimes use two.
check they have voltage and they are good
Once you checked that, check for power to a/c compressor.

Assuming that you have checked the fuse for the fan, the most common problem is the resistor that controls the fan speed. That has been problematic, and BMW has tried several designs for this resistor. Current design part costs about $55 on line. I don't know where it is mounted on this model, but it will be under the dash near the center somewhere.

hi, the problem you are having is going to be more than likely that it needs re gassing this can be done at most garages and wont cost that much to get filled up doing this should solve your problem.

find a scrape yard with the part your looking for..........that is the cheapest option you have

buy a charge hose and pag46 oil charge/and freon about 3 cans 134a/u may not need all the cans but just in case its empty .//look for large ac line/hose and follow it to the small service port this is where u charge, the small line/hose with the large port is no t ur concern u can only hook up to low side ,,,,with ac on and engine running high blower max air,recerculation button on charge system untill ac stops cycleing on and off then charge about a 1/2can/dryer(large can looking thing should get very cold/more freon does not mean more cold so dont over do it

I don;t know who told you the coils would leak and let leaves in but don;t let them work on your car.

2 things to do.
1 make sure the drip tube is not clogged up. If it is water will build up and could mold. Should be a small hose coming off the firewall under the car. Just make sur eit is open and clean.

The next thing is to remove the AC/Heat fan and look in there. You can look in there and smell and remove any leaves/dirt you fine.
