My airconditioner is not working it only blows out hot air

have it charged, just because the compressor is working doesn't mean the system is ok

one of the vacumes going to the switch is bad

You need to check the heater core it has two hoses going to it feel of them if one is hot and the other cold heater core is stopped up replace it or flush it out if they are both hot it can be the switch or a vacuum line the vacuum line will be on the passenger side under the hood where the airconditioner hoses go in the body

Sounds as if there may be a vacuum leak somewhere, possibly behind dash causing it to switch back and forth from hot to cold and vise versa

heater core is going bad my dodge ram truck did the same thing for about three months then steam startedcoming out of the vents it was antifreeze i have not fixed it yet i just bypassed it for now cause its hot and i have to take the dash completly out to get to it, and yes my airconditioner was blowing out hot now immediatly after i bypassed it blows cold again.you have to find where it goes into the motor on both sides so follow the hoses from firewall then buy a 3ft hose to go from one side of motor to the other problem fixed! well that is you wont have a heater until you change the heater core

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Check the vac supply on the intake manifold. Passenger side front of intake.

low freon charge. It needs charged

CHECK TO SEE IF ANY OF THE CABLES HAVE BECOME DETTACHED FROM THE HEATER OPERATION

The air door actuator on the offending side needs to be replaced.

I have a 2001 ford winstar and my heater is not working I slide the ac/heater switch to heat and all it does is let out a thumping sound and blow cold air out and it is starting to get cold in the morning
