Speedometer stuck at max

seen this before you need to get the speedo out and tap it down. it will be stuck. that is if it stays there with no power or ignition on, if not then its a short in the speedo or its wiring. and feeding wrong volts.

Is there a fuse that controls the gas gauge and the speedometer?

No, the system is protected as a whole, so all the instrument cluster gauges will not work if the fuse was the problem, not just the gas gauge and the speedo. This is still under warranty isn't it? 3 years 36,000 miles.

Entire instrument cluster in my 97 plymouth voyager not working

To fix the dash going out try this. This is a common problem with the voyager, caravans and Town & Countrys. What the problem is is a cold soder in the interment cluster itself. The problem area is where the plug comes from the van into the cluster. You need to take the circuit board out of the cluster and reheat the soder on the back side of the circuit board were the plug plugs into. This will fix the cold soder permanitly I think its about 16 pins you have to reheat with the soder gun. If you don't feel comfrotable doing that you can just replace the interment cluster and it will be fine but if you buy a used one make sure it was tested. This also may fix the ABS light and the airbag light. Hope this helps I have done several of them.

Gauges and speedometer wont work fuses are good gas gauge tempeture gauge speedometer just stopedworking

There is most likely a bad connection at the cluster, remove the dash cluster, and check the connection to it,you may have to tighten the connectors up so they will fit tighter.

Instrument cluster stops working while driving and will start again when it's ready. Don't have a tach, speedometer, odometer, temp or gas gauge working when it stops. Cruise control still works when this...

Go to your Fuse and Relay Box called the Power Distribution Center located in your engine comparment and Remove and Replace your Accessories Relay. Your Instrument Cluster is run off this. You should have a Spare Relay of the same type (size and shape). If not use a non-engine operation Relay (that is known to be working!) of the same type (size and shape), and check the operations of both the Instrument Cluster and the relay you switched-it-out-for. If the Instrument Cluster works and the other quit working, then it is the Relay that is bad and nneds to be replaced.
If this does not work, or if you have intermittent failures, there may be a loose connection and/or a bad power or ground supply. Most of the time - it is the Relay that needs to be replaced.

1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager-sometimes the speedometer, gas gauge, etc stops working. sometimes hitting the top dash a couple times it may come back on, if the abs light stays lit i know to look at the...

It can be several things. Te simple one is that the connector behind the cluster is loose. The other is the circut board that makes up the cluster is going bad. Try disconnecting the cluster and re connecting. If this does not work, try replacing it with a sed one from a salvage yard or from ebay.
