2002 Jeep Liberty Intermittant electrical problem - battery light

Intermittant electrical problem - battery light comes on intermittantly but when it's on the power drains as though the alternator or voltage regulator is malfunctioning. Doesn't seem to be related to engine being hot or cold.

2002 Jeep Liberty has an intermittent starting problem. At times the car will not start, the starter will not even engage. If left for a couple of hours it will then start.

You could have a fuel delivery problem. Start by
  • checking fuel pressure. Fuel injected cars are very fuel pressure sensitive. Fuel pressure is very important and must be within specifications. However, if the pressure is low, it does not mean the pump is bad.
  • A plugged fuel filter, a pinched line, and low voltage at the pump can contribute to low fuel pressure. All three must be checked before replacing the pump.

Eds skid control activates for no reason. intermittant problem. dealer replaced power train control module, tcm processor and transmission solonoid pack. still fails.

The problem may be an intermittent problem with one of the wheel speed sensors, if one wheel speed data recieved by the ECU does not match the other 3 sensors the ECU will interpret that as a wheel slip or spin, this will cause the ECU to initiate the traction control.

I have a check engine intermittent light with some shaking in the engine also intermittent, also air bag light comes on intermitently.

Something shaking is almost always a cylinder misfiring.
Which is usually a bad plug or wire. But it could also be an intake manifold vacuum leak.
