1994 buick park ave supercharged can the sending unit be repaired without removing gas tank or pump. maybe loose or broken wire outside tank ? the car runs ruff and stalls but will start up again. check engine light comes on. tested with guage it read 31. is it the unit or the fuel pump?
Look in the trunk to see if there is a round cover on the floor of the trunk. If there is then you'll have access to the sender. If not, then you'll have to drop the tank to get to it.

Unfortunately, you've got serious problems. The GM 3.1 and 3.4 engines have a nasty habit of breaking camshafts. For some reason, which I have yet to determine, the cam bearings seize on the cam and the camshaft ends up breaking in half. The engine will continue to run, albeit very poorly since all the cylinders are not working because the rear half of the camshaft, which runs the oil pump, is not spinning.

you can not put a regular 3800 intake in place of the 3800 super charged engine,the compression ratio is lower than the regular 3800 engine.......!

a very common issue on these is the crankshaft position sensor, it is sensitive to heat when it goes bad, had the issue on my own Buick.

You will have to drop the fuel tank. It is nn the tank. dran fueal use jack stands to surport auto. I use a floor jack ti lower the tank. Take car to un hook the hoses to the tank and the fuel level wires.
