Horn Is the Chevy Malibu made by KIA? Is there a common problem with the horn module? I bought this 2005 Malibu second-hand. Some time thereafter, I realized the horn didn't work. Hubby checked the electronic connections, found the horn module had been moved from proper setting. He moved it to where it was supposed to be....horn kept sounding off till the plug was placed where he found it. We now don't have a horn...safety issue. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

No the Chevy Malibu is not made by Kia!
I think you mean horn relay
I would try a new relay it is possible that the relay is defective and that's why it was removed
here is how the horn circuit works
The body control module (BCM) controls the horn relay by grounding the control circuit of the horn relay coil. When the horn relay coil is grounded, the horn relay contacts close, applying voltage to the horn via the horn supply voltage circuit.
if the horn relay does not fix your concern you may need to take it to a shop and check for any BCM fault codes
and you are correct having no horn is a SAFETY ISSUE
that car should have NEVER PASSED A SAFETY WITHOUT A HORN
hope this helps good luck and I hope the relay fixs it because a BCM is costly

2002 chevy mailbu horn wont turn off.

you may have sett off the panic button on your key chain that caused the car to go into panic mode for the computer. i have had this happen with my old 2000 malibu one suggestion i would say is to try pressing the panic button a few times to see if that is engaging or may disengage the system.
how ever thats if it is related to the panic mode of your car.
other solutions is buy a new horn or horn relay
you may have a short in the horn that could also be making it go off continually. if you are still having trouble see a chevy dealer shop and talk with them about your issue.

My horn does not work on my kia sedona 2005 lx fuses are good and changed horn relay still does not work

The most common cause of this is that the ribbon coiled contact drum located under the steering wheel has an open circuit. The horn pad can also cause this. To service this part (called the "clockspring contact") you must disarm the Airbag system per the shop manual, failure to do this can result in serious injury.

2005 Venture Van, Horn blows fuses

Don't see how one would blow the fuse an not the other . The remote function is controlled by the BCM - body control module or vehicle interface . Regardless ,the module an the switch on the steering wheel both energize the horn relay ! Do you know what a relay is an how it works ?
Check the horn relay

Cannot locate horn for a 2002 Chevy Malibu

the horn is behind the passenger front fender. right in front of the tire. you need to remove the dust cover to gain access to the horn(s).
the picture was shot from underneath the car. you can not get to the horn(s) any other way.
