If the other door works then the fuse is good. Before replacing the motor try twisting on the harness that goes from the door a disappears into the inner fender, wires in this harness get broken off from the tears of twisting when the door is opened and shut.

Where are the 2001 silverado blower motor fuse located ?

Not sure on a 2001 but they are either under the dash on the driver side or under the hood in the black box marked fuses and each one is identified as to where it goes.

Driver side power window on a 1999 chevy silverado LS won't go down. passenger side window works. bought new switch, nothing changed. bought new regulator with motor and still, nothing changed. i...

Motor is not turning in second direction to lower window. Either the new motor is defective or the device that reverses the electricity to the motor is defective. Regulator?

Take motor out and feed it juice - will turn. Reverse polarity and it should turn in other direction.

2003 Chevy Silverado 1500 passenger window does not roll up or down. When I press the switch on the drivers or passenger side a click is heard. Could it be a regulator or motor?

This vehicle has a cable style regulator, which has probably snapped a cable. Replacement regulators come with a motor already installed. New aftermarket units cost around 125 to 150 and are fairly easy to install.

Check the fuse first then with the interior lights push the window button. If the light dim the window motor is bad, if nothing happens then there is a switch problem. I'm betting on the motor.

Hello, my name is Ben. Your starter is down low on the passenger side of the truck, at the right rear of the engine. If you get under the truck on the passenger side and look up, you will see it.

2001 1500 silverado power window

no. all the windows get their power from the driver switch. you need to actually check the circuit..using a volt meter check for power and ground..you are missing one of them..

Power locks and mirrors out. Driver power window out.

Your chevy uses two fuses for the system. The power lock actuators are on the 15 amp fuse inside the truck. The fuse for the switches (locks and mirrors) are under the hood. For 99 to 04 (I think those are the years) there is a TSB on replacing the 3 amp fuse under the hood with a 5 amp fuse because this is a well known problem of having these blow.

Your drivers side window is a different issue. If the rest are working your problem is in the motor or getting power to the motor. The wires that go from the body to the door often crack and break with the opening and closing of the door.
