Hello! Face the front of your engine. From left to right cylinders are; #4-3-2-1. Firing order is 1-3-4-2. Clockwise on your distributor cap; Find # 1 and connect i-3-4-2.

1.6L Engines Firing order: 1-3-4-2 Distributor rotation: Clockwise.

Where can I find an engine layout for Honda civic lx 1994 model for viewing only.

There are no exploded views of these motors on line. but you can get a Haynes manual for like $30 USD. that will give you a comprehensive tear down and rebuild for that motor.

I can't get my 94 civic lx to start I changed the spark plugs and ditirbutor. Still won't fire but will turn overr. It gets fuel because I can smell it

I would check your ignition coil or replace it. It might be fairly inexspensive. It is located underneath the distributer. you will need an ohmmeter.
