Currently experiencing turbo coming and going on my 2091 audi tt

I'm assuming here that you are familiar with driving turbo engines. What do you mean by 'coming and going'? Are you losing boost as your driving or is it not building pressure as you accelerate? This sounds like it might be a 'boost' leak issue. This could be anything from a loose pipe clamp, a faulty wastegate set up to an actual turbo issue.
Give the turbo set up a basic check. Check all of the pipes and clamps to see if any are loose, split or damaged. A hole or leak in the system can cause pressure loss especially at higher engine speeds.
Is the turbo making any strange noises? Get a helper to rev the engine up to 3000 rpm and hold for 3 or 4 seconds and back to idle. Listen for grinding, hissing and rattling noises. Hissing at a steady engine speed suggests a pressure leak. grinding and rattling suggests a faulty turbo.
I would suggest taking it to a turbo specialist as this sounds like it will need to be tested 'under load'.

Hi, on an audi a3 2.0 TDI would the engine position sensor coz the turbo not to kick in properly?

NO THE PROBABLE CAUSE IS A VALVE THAT ADJUSTS THE TURBO PRESSURE!CHECK FOR DTCS FIRST AND LET ME KNOW!!

High pitch noise from under hood when i start my 2005 toyota 4 runner. The noise stops after about 30 seconds. sounds like a turbo charger spooling up but i dont have one.

You could remove the serpentine belt and see if the noise continues, then check each component one at a time.
You describe a slipping belt because the alternator pulls hard for the first few seconds after you start the engine.

The engine makes clicking sound, knocking noise when car is standing after few minutes. the noise goes away when rpm's go up or when car is driving. it is 2001 a4 turbo manual. can it be cam chain...

it could be low oil pressure. timing adjuster would make sounds all the time. if oil pressure is low it can make ticking or clicking sounds, and with turbo you need good oil flow.

I have a 2001 audi a4..When I crank it up the turbo makes a awful screaming sound for 2 to 3 minutes then it stops. How can I fix it?

you have a worn turbo bearing.I would get a replacment turbo before you do any damage. When you start the engine the bearings in the turbo are dry of oil.Has you start the engine the oil will reach the bearings and the noise will apear to go away.

Audi a4 whirring acceleration noise

Hi i have 02 audi a4 slimline. on motorway going 70 mph and to past a car dropped it down to fourth gear probly hit 90mph. Drove for a further hour and a half, and hear a bang under car. car started to loose power. was drivable but hissing noise come out of it when accelerating. Feels like turbo not kicking in. Would this be that the turbo has blown of maybe burst pipe or something. If anyone can share a light on this i would be very greatful. Cheers

Audi a4 turbo chirps when car is started

Could be the belt(s).

If not that, could be a loose hose coming from the turbo. If it build boost and the hose is loose, it'll chirp. At least, it would on my turbo bike. Sounded like a balloon releasing air when the neck is pinched.

Ok i have a 1990 audi 200 quattro its a 2.2l inline 5 turbo im having a problem its not accelerating right its sputters a bit and the turbo doesnt kick in it just makes this blowing noise what cani do

Hello, I used to own a 1989 audi 200 turbo. These cars have a rather complicated fuel injection system called constant injection system (CIS 2). They can be difficult for most mechanics to figure out, unless they are already familiar with it. If you do bring it to a mechanic, try to find one that is familiar with these cars. And don't be afraid to get a second opinion. I had one mechanic claim that my car needed several thousand dollars worth of parts, another was able to fix it for under a hundred. The only suggestion I have is that it sounds like it is vacuum related. Good luck!
