The right front door lock does not work with the power buttons. It does work manually. When I use either power button the accuator makes noise but neither locks or unlocks right door. I have removed the door panal, felt the all around the latch here noise feel vibration but see or feel movement. I was advised to replace latch componet but cost is way out of line. Is there any way to repair the old unit or red neck engineer so the door lock will work with the push of the buttons?

IT SOUNDS LIKE THE REMOTE BATTERY IS BAD AND IT MUST HAVE 3 VOLTS AND AFTER REPLACING IT CYCLE KEY 5 TIMES ON AND OFF THEN PUSH EITHER BUTTON AND IT SHOULD ACCEPT THE PROGRAMMING TRY THIS FIRST AND TELL ME IFIT DOES NOT WORK

Its your switch then. There is just a switch that closes the connection when you push down. after time that can wear down and not work. May be wiring but most likely the switch.

you will need new t gate lock assembly parts inside are worn out

Yes it can but the dealer would have found it on the test drive if they test drove the vehicle. The only other causes for the vibration I can think of should have been found on inspection as well. Check your bushings and mounts for the sway bar and your tie rod ends as well.

remove the door panels and give everything in sight a good squirt of engine oil in a proper oil can .DO NOT USE THAT SPRAY FISH OIL STUFF ,wd40
