Where do i add power steering fluid to a 2005 chevy malibu

Are you sure it has Hydraulic Power Steering ? Could have Electronic Power Steering ! What engine does yours have ? If it is hydraulic it isn't sealed , would have a fluid Reservoir ! Look up under dash drivers side , will see a electric motor on the steering column .

There is no resivoir to add fliud....in 2004 chevy went to engine assisted power steering

the 2004 malibu does not have a place to put transmission fluid it has a electric power steering system and does not use fluid, if you are having a problem with the power steering light chimming and lighting up this is under a recall that chevy has obligated to fix. look around belts the power steering pump will be around them. for the pump runs off a belt. the the cap shoulb be ther take off and fill

This can be VERY expensive I would first contact GM customer assitance the phone number should be in your owners manual.Maybe depending on your milage they will split the cost with you.I worked 20 plus years for GM and they helped alot my customers.
