Are you sure you don't hear anything like a chirping sound when the engine is idling? Have you popped the hood and listened while the engine was idling? Have a friend sit in the driver's seat while you pop the hood, tell them to press the accelerator and then listen for the squeal. I would bet dollars to donuts the problem is the serpentine belt is worn and needs to be replaced.

Testimonial: "it chirps and squeals when you hit the acceleration and the noise seems to be coming out from the driving belt and near the power steering pump"

Yep, the belt needs to be replaced. I wouldn't worry so much about the power steering because if that was bad you would hear something like a high-pitched whining/grinding noise when you turn the wheels.

Rattling noise when accelerating

I would need to know what vehicle this is? 4 Cylinder. V6? 3.0? There are a few things it could be,

If the Engine is Moving, it could be hitting something so I would check the Motor Mounts (Happens quite Frequently on Taurus)

Check the Tension of your Serpentine Belt

Squealing noise on 01 ford ranger while accelerating

Hi, I'm glad to help!

First you need to remove the drive belt and spin the Alternator, A/C Clutch and Water Pump pulley's and see if you hear the squeal. Its possibly it may have to be under a load before you hear it but its worth a try. It's also possible it could have something to o with the Throttle Body or Intake Manifold. Hope this helps and have an awesome day.

Why does my 01 grand am gt coupes belt squel everytime I hit the accelerator ?

Belt squeal has virtually nothing to do with squealing. However, it could be an indication of needing a new belt, idler, tensioner, or any of the other components the belt goes around (A/C compressor, power steering pump, alternator).

Old belts can makes some noise.

However, if any of the components the belt routes around are worn and cause more restriction than normal, that could also cause belt noise.

2001 blazer makes a grinding or clicking noise during acceleration.

Yes, you need a brake job or clean the brake pads by taking off the tires, then the drums, wipe the inside of the drums of dirt, wipe the brakes off, and reassemble.

My van is making a squeling noise when i accelerate

Does the squealing noise only happen when you accelerate? It may be the serpentine belt. If you look at the belt on the inside where the grooves are and the belt is all cracked up, then I'd start with the belt.

Loud screeching noise coming from car after stops.

the screeching noise is most likely caused by a slipping belt or pully. transmission probably needs fluid and filter changed.
