Hi, i wouldnt have thought it would be a fuse problem as if the fuse had gone then the stereo wouldnt work at all the chances are that the amp inside the stereo has failed now the problem you have is that the cost of repair to this part would end up costing more than replacing the whole stereo.
So unless the stereo has been moved or knocked and the speaker wires have come loose the only real option would be to replace the whole stereo.
Im sorry their is no easy solution to this but make sure you check all wires are fitted correct to make sure the wires are not at fault.
Their will be no fuses between the steroe and the speakers as they are such low power plus the stereo fuse protects the whole system so a problem their would mean none of the stereo working.
Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok
No way ...not a fuse ,could simply be the arness wire in back of the radio that is louss,or the amplificator in the radio that is shut ...no way of fixing that ,
have you cheked for muting button or some kind of bluethoot systhem ??
I have a 2003 Subaru Legacy with the same problem. I think it must be a loose wire problem because for a few weeks the stereo would come on sporadically. Sometimes you'd get in the car and everything worked, and sometimes nothing would work. Now, for the last week, there's been no audio, so I think the wire has finally got free entirely. Does anyone know how to look for a loose wire?
