Engine cranks but will not start

have you changed the fuel filter and emptied the gas tank and put fresh gas in? Stale gas will not start as well as fresh gas and there could be water from condensation in the tank.

if your carb is a tbi (throttle body injector) then the carb is clogged

put some gas in the tank

Make sure the crank sensor is good and has signal on crank.

Spray some starting fluid into engine intake air duct while crankingengine over. If it tries to start good possiblity fuel pump is bad. (In fuel tank). However if it does not problem lies somewhere other than fuel system

sounds like you have a bad fuel pump which is in the fuel tank

the first thing is to check all connection to battery then check the ignition switch not the key part but the electrical switch in column. start there

On a 300cc / 4.9L has two fuel pumps both elec. one in gas tank and one on fram rail. On a 351 / 5.8L has one elec. fuel pump on fram rail and one mechanical type on drive side front of engine block.On 460/7.5L could have elec. fuel pump one on fram rail one in gas tank or mechanical type.Hope this was helpful. you say you replaced the fuse, but does the fuse have power? the gray wire at pump should have power when cranking, or for 2 seconds when turning key on. At fuel pump relay, put power onto gray wire, the pump should run if the wiring is good. if it doenst run then ck for power at fuse while power is on gray wire.

The inline fuel pump fuse on the passenger side firewall is good? Are you jumping it with 12 volts at the test lead or the fuse?
