I would suspect a leak at the heater core especially if you smell coolant inside the car or you see a wet spot on the carpet.

2004 Ford Ranger, horn started honking continuously, disconnected horn. Next, every time the headlights turned on, windshield sprayer would come on by itself and not turn off. Where should I start?

How much is it raining there?

You have what is likely water infiltrating the Smart Junction Box (SJB). A lot of owners have this issue.

Most likely the windshield seal has failed and leaking on/into the SJB. But can leak elswhere.

Have you noticed dampness inside the cabin... windows fogged over from the inside, floor carpet is damp, or other?

If all dry, then possibly, reseating SJB connector. Otherwise you'll have to find the leak, fix, dry it out.

Why would the windows on my chrysler 300 c fog up on the inside to the point you cant see out of the side mirriors? It gets worse the farther i drive. Could it be cabin filter or evaporator drain bloc

try turning your vents on to blow hot air in the car. you have to much moisture in the rugs is a good guess. need to dry to car rugs. have you heard of damp rid product. its little pellets you can put in areas of a house that suck moisture out of the air. you can try that while the car is sitting for days. see if it helps. best thing to do is on nice sunny days is open the windows to get some fresh air in the car. when I plow snow my windows fog up I just open the window and crank the heat

Window fogging

If it were a leaking heater core, the inside glass surface would have an oily film along with the fog.
It sounds like your fresh air intake is not working. You have to get fresh air from the outside to be able to get rid of the excess moisture inside the cabin. Or you have excessive moisture inside from a water leak that the system can't overcome.

Window fogs up when heat is on

Not sure if this is the problem, but the symptom that you describe is consistant with what happens when you get a heater core leak. When the system gets pressureized, you likely have a mist spraying..like a vapor in your heater box. The fan then carries the mist to the cabin and moisture forms inside the car. Usually when this happens, it will be accompanied by an odor of coolant. Also over time, your coolant levels will drop. As the condition worsens, your passenger side floorboard could start getting wet. Good Luck! I hope you find this very helpful!

Bad smell in side car. smells somewhat like a mold or dampness problem.

Hi,
Check the carpet on the passenger side and see if it is damp or wet. Also, have you noticed white smoke coming from your vents? Does your windshield etc. fog up rather than defrost? If so, you probably have a heater core that is leaking and needs replaced.
Hope this helps! Good luck.

No cabin heat.. windows fogged.. engine runs cold!!

chances are the heater core is clogged and wont allow proper circulation for the heater.i would suggest getting a new one put in and see if that dosent fix it for you.
