I have a 1990 chevy c3500.I just recently purchased it.The heater wasn't working.I checked the fuse and it was blown.I replaced it and turned on the heater. It lasted a minute and the fuse blew again.I replaced the blower motor because it sounded like it might be going out.I turned it on once again and the fuse blew within minutes.Any suggestions as to why it might be blowing?

I would have taken it back immediatly and told them that it worked before and oesnt now since they worked on it and you would appreciate it if they at least looked at it.
If they refuse, then never go back and you will have to trace the problem using a voltemeter.
Make sure the fuse is the right Amperage.
Buy a repair manual from a auto parts saled store and see what else connects to that fuse, you could have a bad blower motor, or some other wire that got damaged durring the clutch install.
good luck

Several things can cause this (1) low coolant (2) bad coolant valve to heater core.(3) bad damper in duct.
SOURCE: heater fuse keeps blowing
The brushes and armature are worn on blower motor drawing too many amps. You need a new one. they are easy to put in since the plastic inner fender flexes.
SOURCE: fuse for locks constantly blows
Try replacing the relay. Clean the socket of the relay and fuse
SOURCE: heater blower only blows on low
Check the resistor block in the heat duct. It controls the fan speeds. There will be a small frmoveable piece in the duct with 2 or 3 wires going to it. They go to different combinations within the resistor plate to make the motor run at different speeds.
