P1345 is cam shaft to crankshaft out of sync.Timing is off on the chain, but not by much,or it wouldn`t run.Oil pressure is low maybe because the oil pump is binding (tight)and making the cam drag(the oil pump shaft is driven off the cam),I would pull the oil pan ,and remove the oil pump and try and turn it to see if that is the problem..If it is ,replace it with a high volume so you know the oil pressure is gonna be good. Also check the oil sending unit before you do this so to see if it is the cause for the low oil pressure reading. If the oil pump is tight to turn, then this would cause the code, and there would be no reason to replace the timing chain. But if the oil pump is not hard to turn by hand ,then the timing chain and gears are to be changed, this would cause the code.If I can help, let me know.I will try to do my best to help.

99 tahoe read code p0300 what does that mean

Po300 is a multiple random misfire there several things that cause this GM had an issue with the coil wire arcing to the transmission dipstick tube the new routing is to go over the plugs and remain on the inside of tube (old way was behind) USE a new wire. #2 dirty fuel (water contamination) As for the p1345 code this could be caused by ignition arcing inside Distributor Cap I would suggest replacing cap and rotor Clear codes This code will set once engine has gone over 1000 rpm's it updates every time to get spark advance correct if sets again distributor has moved this can be reset with a gm specific software scanner under camshaft offset specs 0 degrees to +4 max.

1999 chevy silverado with p1345,p0171,andp0174

Did you verify the sensors were faulty before you replaced them ? Code 1345 means the signal from each sensor is not in sync with the other. That means one sensor signal is out of sync, or there is a problem with the timing chain.
Codes 171 and 174 deal with the issue of the fuel system being too lean on both banks or heads. You could have compression or fuel problems that would cause those codes.
A mechanic would use a scanner to monitor data from the sensors and try to figure out whats going on.

What is code p1345

error code p1345 ( gm and chevy) = camshaft and crankshaft position error code. a tooth or timing chain has excessive wears.
BMW error code P1345 = cylinder 2 misfires, fuel cut off.
all of it, cause the engine lose power.

1999 chevy tahoe. check engine light. needed smog for dmv registration renewal. fault code P1345. what is needed to get it to pass smog check?

The vehicle need to be timed. If you had a intake done this should have been done at that time.you will need a scan tool to time this vehicle as there is no timing marks and the computer uses the cam sensor in the Distributor to time the vehicle.IT is locaqted in the scan tool under cam ******.you must rev the vehicle once for the computer to detect a timing change.every time you adjust the distributor you must rev the vehicle once.(you only need to get to 1500 rpm for this to occur).

I have a p1345 code on a 99 chevy 1500 5.7

start over! disconnect the battery. reset the dist. in properly aligned with TDC and #1 towards the front of the motor. once these steps have been taken and youre sure youre ready to fire it off, do so. make sure you set timing, you probably need to get a scanner and clear the codes. if you can afford one with "live data", it will serve you well if there are any further problems.
