I have A 1999 Chevy Tahoe I'm getting an error code that says P1345 can you explain this code. And Ihave low oil pressure but plenty of oil.
Has any work been done under the hood recently???? most likelty the cam ****** must be reset. if the distributor has been moved at all, it will have tot be reset, with a scanner.
P1345 is cam shaft to crankshaft out of sync.Timing is off on the chain, but not by much,or it wouldn`t run.Oil pressure is low maybe because the oil pump is binding (tight)and making the cam drag(the oil pump shaft is driven off the cam),I would pull the oil pan ,and remove the oil pump and try and turn it to see if that is the problem..If it is ,replace it with a high volume so you know the oil pressure is gonna be good. Also check the oil sending unit before you do this so to see if it is the cause for the low oil pressure reading. If the oil pump is tight to turn, then this would cause the code, and there would be no reason to replace the timing chain. But if the oil pump is not hard to turn by hand ,then the timing chain and gears are to be changed, this would cause the code.If I can help, let me know.I will try to do my best to help.
