My 94 pathfinder wont crank... i want to replace the starter relay but i cant find a clear location of the relay on the net... where is the relay for sure?

Does it have spark at the plugs ?

Try the driver side fender mounted inside the L-shaped bracket supporting the carbon cannister

Check the ignition switch, and the wiring to the starter solenoid. Get someone to turn the key to the crank (start) position and check for voltage at the starter solinoid. Check the starter relay and all fuses.

Check your manual if you have it. I believe you need to have the key in the ignition in the ON position for about 10 minutes to reset the security system.

Chevy's don't use a relay like fords, rather they have a solenoid on the starter that your positive battery cable runs to.
Sounds like a fuel delivery issue, you would have to have fuel pressure checked, you most likely have throttle body injection..

Could be a few different things: Bad starter relay, bad igniton coil, plugged fuel filter or weak fuel pump.

Try the fuel pump relay, usually located behind the right kick panel in the passenger side. If that is working, Nissans have a fuse link to the injectors. If that burns out the car will crank but will not start until you get power to the injectors.

if it will crank but not start check the ignition components and fuel pressure if it wont even crank check fuses and all starting system electrical connections and components
