2001 elantra master power window switch

There are two fuses that cover the power windows, but if it is only one window, it is likely to be the switch, the wiring, or the motor on that particular door. An auto-electrician can diagnose. Videos may help.

have the electricals checked. mostly the master switch.

it's working from the drivers side. i would assume the passenger switch is bad or there is a wire disconnected from the switch.

Replace the dirver's door master control switch assy.

is there a "relay" to it...."power window relay"

if there is one.....that is probably the problem........

also make sure no wires are shorted...

you dont have to take the trrim off on this car look at the outline of the switch open from rear and pull forward then you can change the window switch/ Please rate my response thank you very much

there is a short or a signal from the un-locking switch that is triggering your locks.

you have a switch manually to lock and un-lock your doors, the unlocking circuit is making contact.

you can try playing with your switch to un-short the switch or open it up ang check it.

1. Remove the switch from the door trim panel. 2. Check for continuity between the terminals. If continuity is not as specified in the table, replace the power window switch. POWER WINDOW MAIN SWITCH WINDOW LOCK SWITCH

Inspection: Connect the motor terminals directly to battery voltage (12V) and check that the motor operates smoothly. Next, reverse the polarity and check that the motor operates smoothly in the reverse direction. If the operation is abnormal, replace the motor.
